here in Mid Tennessee.. I thought we were way to far from costal areas to see this HUGE wonderful bird here.. but here it is and here it is staying!
It is great to get something out the ordinary visiting.
We have 1000s of DC cormorants on the great lakes occationally I'll spot one or two inland a few miles in a swamp.I've wondered if these are individuals banished from the larger colonies or pioneers looking for less competitive fishing grounds
