Does white wagtail count as a tick?

A humble beginner, I'd just like to check if white wagtail counts as a tick or if it's lumped together with pied wagtail.
(This would be bird 126 on my short but growing list, hence the query).

As the White wagtail is the nominate species and the pied is the subspecies more often found in the UK I tend to lump them altogether as 1 tick. However I do keep notes on what subspecies seen and where so that if ever they are split I have a nice armchair tick.

The official BOU (British Ornithologist's Union) list treats both wagtails as one species. Most bird listers follow BOU.

The UK400 list does split white from pied wagtail.
