I include you a link to my blog explaining a day trip that I did to the Aiguamolls de l'Emporda (Girona province, north-east of Spain) past december. It is a marsh area, with some ponds and the beach. I have included maps, and some pictures. The most interesting for me was 4 artic loons that I saw in the beach.
