Curve-billed Thrasher !



There is a very strange straggler , overwintering at a feeder in a small town near us in Saskatchewan, Canada.
This bird is a Curve-billed Thrasher . This bird should not be here at all.

It normally resides in Southern America and Mexico and lives among Cactus and arid desert , not the Snowy North .

How on earth it came to be in Canada is anyone's guess.

It seems quite happy though and is being well fed by the owner of the front yard that the bird seems to prefer .
