Crete trip report July 2009

Finally got around to uploading a trip report from my latest trip to Crete.
It is available, along with other trip reports from Crete here.

Water levels at Lake Aghia were varied considerably during the couple of weeks I was there - it looked like it was about to dry up completely at one point.

Olivaceous warbler were quite common around the lake and it looked like Ferruginous Duck had bred there.

Thanks for posting. I shall read it now as I have thought of Crete for next year. May be back to ask for more info.

I enjoyed both the report and the photos. You mention Beech Martens being common. Did you see them in day light or at night? I only managed roadkill on my visit.
