Time to gloat - I just got these pics back from Steve (thanks) who got them from his Dad's video.... they may be a few years old, but its still the biggest adrenalin rush I ever got when unpacking the weekly shop. The bird was about 4 feet from my kitchen window in the video!

If I needed any more incentive to get planting some cover around my house, this is it! It might discourage those rare wheatears though...

These were ornamental dwarf birches.... full of aphids, though apart from a Lesser Whitethroat, I don't recall ever seeing another warbler in them!
