I'm new to starting birding lists and I wondered is there anywhere that I can get a checklist of birds so that I can tick them off as I go, either on my laptop or on paper, I used to have one from my local club but seem to have lost it.
Thanks Mark
If you go to a RSPB reserve you can usually buy a small grey book with a list of UK birds in it - several lists in fact.
Or you could create a spreadsheet and enter the names of birds from a field guide etc.

Bird Watching or Birdwatch magazines include a (free) small booklet once a year with a complete list.
The Birdwatchers Yearbook produced by Buckingham Press includes a full checklist.
