in a small suburban garden, in just under a year, I have successfully attracted these birds:
house sparrow
chaffinch
dunnock
blackbird
starling
collared dove
wood pigeon
blue tit
great tit
coal tit
long tailed tit
goldfinch
greenfinch
song thrush
sparrowhawk
robin
goldcrest
wren
magpie
carrion crow.
what do you think?
I'm especially pleased with Goldcrest, goldfinch, long-tailed tit and the latest visitor sparrowhawk!! ![]()
Not bad at all, the Goldcrest was the one that jumped out at me too thats a good bird for the garden. I've never had LT Tit in my garden either.
Hi adam. yes I couldn't believe the goldcrest, I've seen it twice in the garden so far. once in autumn, once this winter after the snow. TERRIBLE picture but here's the proof- http://www.flickr.com/photos/54493324@N02/5375363222/
LTT have only been in about 3 times.
