Well I ended up taking a train for hours from Victoria to Comox to chase a Black tailed Gull. This bird was the first for the province and it well worth the money(I spent around 50 dollars that day) and time. There was dozens of birders there. This is the first North American rarity I've chased down and it was quite an experience. This was the logest "twitch"I have ever done and thank goodness it was still there. Last time it was seen was on Monday.
