Birds that follow you around

A parallel thread to the birds that avoid you one. Are there any birds which you seem to see more often than you would expect? For me......

1. Olive-backed Pipit I know they are a little more common than they used to be, but I have seen 5 of these without twitching any!

2. Red-throated Pipit 4 of these, three self found and the other wasn't twitched!

3. Dusky Warbler 3 - and again not one twitched....they all turned up at places shortly after I did

4. Desert Warbler 3, though one was twitched (the Blakney Bird), even so that's a huge percentage of the British records!

5. Red-rumped Swallow 3, two found and one arrived just after me at Flamborough!

In Norfolk it's Ross' Geese (seem to be all over!) and 'rare sibe warblers' - found Dusky, Yellow-browed and Pallas' last year (in 20 yards of each other) and had a Hume's getaway.

and I think i've saw three of the first five Isabelline wheatears without having to twitch....

Oh to live in Norfolk
