Yellow legs and beak.....I simply do not know which it could be....anyone any experience of this area....regards and thanks in anticipation, Trev

Hi Brixham, welcome to Birdforum from all the moderators and staff here.

Sorry, I have no experience of what eagles may be found along the Rhine at this time of year. Maybe you could tell us more about it - what it was doing, how it was flying, etc?

White-tailed Eagle is likeliest, I think but please give us more of a description to go on

Cheers,

Andy.

White-tailed is the only eagle I can think about in this part of Germany. All other species are highly unlikely.
