How many of you have completed a bird family (or subfamily) for an area or for that matter the world?
I have seen all the family Pelecanidae for North America, and am only missing one for the family Ardeidae in Texas.
I just looked in my Birds of Chile book and the only one I see right now is the Cathartidae for Chile. But I'll see if I can find any others.
