For those thinking of going to Bharatpur this winter; I am reliably informed
that the marshes are "like the good old days"...."it has rained like crazy, Mr John". Lets hope for Siberian Cranes...just like the good old days.

Very good, will be there in little more than a month ..was there two years back, also a good year with lots of water, but the Sib Cranes failed to show (had been there the year before for the last time) ...but otherwise had to rank as one of the world's top birding spots
Birding at Bharatpur this year going to be great,after rain the lake is full of water.Can"t wait to go this weekend.
