Beddington Farm Yearlist 2007

Another year list begins, will I surpass 114 species recorded at the site last year. My life list stands at 116 species Goldeneye and Arctic Tern were the only two species recorded in previous years that I dipped last year (Both were seen on site).

This list is not a full site list but the species I record throughout the year. But I am sure I will mention anything of interest that I do dip.

Johnny Allan's website www.diporglory.co.uk has a full round up of rarities.

Eurasian Robin was my first Beddington tick of the year. I use wildlife recorder to produce my lists therefore sightings will be in systematic order not the order I saw them on the day.

The Yellow Legged Gull, Med Gull and the dipped Caspian Gull visited the main lake to wash up. Tree Sparrows were on their usual spot on the feeder near the hide. Main Lake and feeder can be viewed from the Public footpath viewpoint North of Hackbridge railway station.

Another good day for gulls but I did not walk the site therefore year ticks were few and far between. The Med Gull pics were taken on the lake.
