Barnacle Geese and a Ruddy Shelduck - would you

So you are strolling around Holkham Lake and you are scanning the myriad Greylag and Eygptian (aren't there a lot of these there?!) and you spot a Barnacle Goose - ooh an escape you think but then spot another and they have 4 young. So would you count them?

You're strolling around Blickling lake (ok I was hobbling) rest your battered foot and scan the geese and find a Ruddy Shelduck. A local birder tells you there is a feral population 2 miles down the road at Mannington (?). Would you count it?

I'm particularly interested in the latter !! Can't think why. Yes I know it's MY list but it should be reasonably meaningful.

No and No.....

Ruddy Shelducks often wander from Mannington and turn up at various places....was one at Holkham for a while

there is an interesting collection of ducks at Blakeney Quay including some nice South American stuff.......
