Just finished blogging my recent trip to Scotland, staying for a week on the magnificent Ardnamurchan peninsular.
The highlights for me were Golden Eagles, Minke Whale, Basking Sharks, The Saxon moth and Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary butterfly.
The blog is heavy on pics and light on text. Moths figure very strongly in the photos but there are plenty of birds and other wildlife. You can click on most of the pictures to get a larger image.

Excellent Brian. Reminded me of my trip out to the west coast last summer, when I also saw my first Basking Sharks.
