Algarve 3rd-17th Oct 2011 (just in case you need another)

Having settled for Portugal I can say I was gobsmacked at the amount of birds in both species and quantity. I feel I could have done much better with more luck and better judgement.

I have been putting together a trip report and intend to add more detail with text shortly. For those willing to sift through "data" and a few pictures please feel free.

I really enjoyed the trip and it far exceeded my expectations. I will add more photos and more written detail when I get chance. In truth I made a mess of our day to Sagres area with many schoolboy errors which left our total for the area a very stand out feature due to the lack of species.

Will be interesting to know what will happen to the motorways when they go toll as this would add quite a bit to a birders costs.
