Me and my Parents were aiming this holiday to beat the number of different species we saw in our last holiday to Norfolk which was 71.
Saturday while we were travalling my dad said we could make a detour to the Montagu's Harriers at Digby in Lincolnshire so we did. It wasnt long before the male turned up followed by the female who did a food pass with one of the juveniles and then we had to continue our journey to Hunstanton.
On Sunday we went to RSPB Snettisham in the morning and in the afternoon we went around the Norfolk Lavender Farm. In the evening we went to the cliffs at Hunstanton.
Monday we went to Holkham Hall and walked over 3 miles around the lake and saw loads of Fallow Deers then I went on my second ever boat ride on the lake. In the evening we went and to see the Nightjars near Sandringham. We got there a bit early so had a long wait in the car. Then 2 men turned up and went down a path, one of them had whiter than white cuffs on to attract them so my dad asked me if I wanted to go down the path to them and I said yes so we got out of the car and were about to walk down the path when something in a bush moved so we stopped and then it came closer and closer and I ran back to the car shouting open the car open the car to my mum who was still in the car and there I stayed for the rest of the night. I just watched the man with the cuffs and when he waved is arms I looked where he waved and I saw one.
Tuesday we went RSPB Titchwell Marsh.
Wednesday we went to Cromer.
Thursday we went to NWT Cley Marshes.
Friday we went and played golf on Hunstanton Cliffs.
Places Listed arn't the only places we saw some of the birds.
