As usual my trip reports are rather long, too long to place as a thread but if you are interested in a long read then here is a link to it in my web site.

If it's photos you are wanting to look at I have links at the top of the Trip Report page that takes you to a page full of bird photos and another link that takes you to landscapes, scenery and a couple of animal photos.
I hope you get time to take a look.
Here are a few photos as a taster.
1. Booted Eagle being mobbed by Spotless Starlings.
2. Common sandpiper
3. Red Avadavat
4. Male Crossbill
5. Griffon Vulture
John
Thanks for the report John. Sounds like you saw some good birds and I can see you got some good photos.
I was interested in your comments about the Valverde centre. We avoided the place this year because we were told in advance that there wasn't much water in that area and the birding was poor. Sounds like the tracks were worse down that way as well, because we took an average family car down lots of tracks just north of Valverde and had no problems at all.
We went as far as the white pumping station at Casa de Bombas, but then went right instead of straight on.
The difference for you Bobby is that you listened! Who's a naughty boy then John? Great pics and report though. Shame about the dirty sensor at the end of your tour, got any idea how to fix it cheaply?
