I already spend many hours photographing birds in the UK and after having visited Florida last year wish to plan another overseas visit in the hope of getting some very good photographs.
As I will be travelling with my partner who enjoys birding, she does draw the line at waiting hours on end or me setting up hides etc when on holiday.
With this in mind I would welcome any suggestions as to where may rival Florida in the respect of offering great photograhic opportunities whilst at the same time being an ideal location to enjoy other holiday activities aside from bird photography.

You are not alone in your holiday needs, there are lots of us in the same situation !!!! Goa and Gambia are well served by package holidays and you can easily find a guide when you get there. I have also tried Costa Rica ( First Choice are going there again now) and Kerala in Southern India.

which , hopefully give more than just a list of what we saw but a general feel for holiday suitability.
I look forward to hearing other ideas too as I'm always looking for new places to go within a modest budget. Have you put in a Florida report ?
