In 1996 I made a four-month birding trip through Mexico, from the sand dunes of northern Chihuahua near the Texas border south to Chiapas, near the Guatemala border, visiting many habitats and seeing a wide variety of birds. My notes include a lot of information about plants and animals, as well as local traditional customs, and my own misadventures.
I've finally placed these notes and sketches on the Internet. I invite everyone to take a look at them and enjoy the trip and all my discoveries with me.

Hi Earthfoot and welcome to Birdforum from the Moderators and Staff.
Four months sounds like the right sort of trip and I look forward to reading your report in detail.
Mexico is on my 'must visit' list and we have other Members from there(and visitors) who I'm sure will read your report with interest
